One of my favourite projects was building this Darth Vader costume! I put my costume together so that I could join the 501st Legion. The 501st are an international volunteer group who use use Star Wars costumes for charity work!

My costume consists of a mix of parts that I designed/built myself and parts that were purchased. I personally designed and built the chest box, belt boxes, belt buckle and lightsaber. I also crafted a custom sound system that allows Vader’s breathing to play through speakers. I then integrated buttons into the belt assembly that I can discreetly press to trigger audio of quotes from the films.
